Biohacking Recovery

This scenic lakefront resort serves as the ultimate post-skiing retreat, offering the seasonal Après Mountain Recovery Massage, tailored to those who have conquered the slopes. The unique massage treatment is designed to alleviate muscle soreness and promote efficient recovery through various techniques that restore mobility and balance while targeting specific areas of tension. Sea Containers London (London, United Kingdom) 

Set on London’s South Bank, Sea Containers features a unique offering for guests striving to experience recovery and rest like never before. The Ship Shape Suite is equipped with the ultimate water-thermoregulated and digitalized mattress, designed by sleep experts, Eight Sleeps. Guests can control it directly with their own smart device to personalise temperature and will receive a private health report upon waking. The Pod tracks sleep stages throughout the night and provides a wealth of information, including respiratory rate, resting Heart Rate and HRV.

The Alpina Gstaad

The Alpina Gstaad (Gstaad, Switzerland) 

Situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps, this eco-friendly hotel combines Swiss traditions with state-of-the-art infrastructure, services and innovation. The dedicated ‘Sleep Suite’ was created in partnership with Freshbed, creators of the world’s first climate-controlled bed. Guests can now sleep in an optimal microclimate where lower humidity levels facilitate up to double the hours of uninterrupted sleep. Black-out blinds and blue light blocking glasses are also provided, as well as an introductory CBD oil designed to assist with the regulation of sleep patterns. Air-filtering green plants such as Dragon Tree, Monstera Deliciosa, and Orchids purify the atmosphere and diffused essential oils are specifically blended to relax the central nervous system. Suite guests will also be offered a personalized Six Senses sleep consultation where the best treatments to enhance sleep are recommended.

The Londoner (London, United Kingdom) 

The world’s first ‘super-boutique’ hotel has launched an exclusive room and spa package focused on improving gut health and sleep for enhanced mental and physical wellbeing in partnership with Nutritional Therapist and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Elena Rolt. The comprehensive room package includes a complimentary 20-minute virtual consultation with Elena, and access to The Retreat and Refuel facilities with The Retreat Refresh body treatment. This combination body and scalp treatment is designed to ease tension, support lymph flow, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, introducing tranquillity for a restorative night’s sleep. Guests will also indulge in Elena’s specially curated menu to influence gut microbiota composition, promote a healthy intestinal lining, reduce inflammation, and support adrenal function crucial for restorative sleep. This limited-time offer is available between Tuesday, January 2 – Thursday, February 29.

Sofitel Dubai The Palm (Dubai)

Here guests can prepare for a sound sleep by heading to the Sofitel Spa with L’Occitane for a signature Rest & Reset treatment. This 90-minute massage uses unique rituals to prepare the body for sleep and has been endorsed as an effective technique by the European Sleep Centre. Preparing for a Sofitel-style bonne nuit, a warm bath can regulate the body’s temperature and support natural circadian rhythms. Sofitel’s in-room Bath Rituals are available upon request, with a Sofitel Ambassador arriving to draw the bath, ensure temperature and amenities are to the guest’s liking, and make any custom arrangements due to health concerns or personal preferences. Finally, it’s time to slip between the sumptuous linen sheets of the Sofitel MyBed, pairing exquisite comfort with refined style. Guests choose from a pillow menu, featuring up to seven different natural and hypo-allergenically treated pillows for the ideal customized sleep experience.
