Lux Nomade checks into Meliá Bali in Nusa Dua – a luxury family-friendly retreat

Nestled along the pristine shores of Nusa Dua Beach, amidst lush gardens and azure waters, Meliá Bali is hidden away from the hustle and bustle and represents luxury and tranquillity. As I embarked on my journey to this island paradise, I couldn’t help but feel the anticipation building for the exotic experiences that awaited me. With its idyllic location just 12 kilometres from the Bali International Airport and only 5 minutes from Nusa Dua town centre. It’s easy to visit from the hotel Bali’s most iconic attractions, including the majestic Uluwatu Temple and the cultural marvel of Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Meliá Bali promises an unforgettable escape into the heart of the “Island of the Gods.”

Luxurious Accommodations: Lagoon Access Junior Suite

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warm Balinese hospitality and guided into my sanctuary, a Lagoon Access Junior Suite. This spacious suite offered direct access to a stunning lagoon-style pool, where I could immerse myself in the tropical paradise at my doorstep. The suite itself, spanning 62 square meters, exuded Indonesian elegance with its king-size bed, tasteful furnishings, and private terrace overlooking the lush gardens.

Equipped with modern amenities such as a flat-screen smart TV, air conditioning, satellite channels, and a well-stocked minibar, every detail of the room was beautifully curated to ensure a comfortable and indulgent stay. The marble-adorned bathroom, featuring both a bathtub and shower, provided a serene oasis for relaxation after a day of exploration. Further, Meliá Bali offers garden view rooms, family suites, romance suites and garden villas.

Fantastic Asian Food On The Menu

Dining at Meliá Bali is a culinary journey that celebrates the rich flavours and diverse cuisines of Bali and beyond. During my stay, I had the pleasure of indulging in the gastronomic delights offered at Lotus Asian Restaurant and Sakura Japanese Restaurant. At Lotus, I enjoyed the local Rendang dish, a slow-cooked stew that tantalized my taste buds with its rich and aromatic flavours.

Meanwhile, Sakura restaurant transported me to the bustling streets of Tokyo with its vibrant atmosphere and I truly loved the premium quality sashimi and sushi. From the captivating teppanyaki show to the intimate tatami room, every moment I spent at Sakura was a culinary adventure to remember.
