BEAUTY BRAND GROWN ALCHEMIST OPENS THEIR FIRST FLAGSHIP RETAIL LAB

Joining the world of bricks and mortar, beauty experts and cult beauty brand Grown Alchemist has opened its first flagship store in Faraday Street Carlton this month (4th November 2020). Located in one of Carlton’s heritage-listed buildings set among the renowned King & Godfree precinct, the new Grown Alchemist Retail Lab store is set to exceed expectations keeping in line with the revolutionary skincare products.

Unassumingly nestled in the Melbourne inner-city suburb of Carlton, the Grown Alchemist Retail Lab and treatment rooms are the embodiment of a holistic beauty destination. Drawing inspiration from industrial laboratories, the Retail Lab is an inviting contrast of heritage architecture, raw and exposed brickwork and modernism. What was once an old Victorian cottage, the Grown Alchemist in-house design team along with the impeccable eye of Herbert & Mason Architecture created a luxury, refreshing & heavenly space.

Clearly a diamond in the rough, the team have maintained the brick structure, “we are treating it like a ruin we want to preserve – there are big cavities and holes and all over” Mujis said. Take note of the stainless steel, glass and lack of doors, the new Grown Alchemist store creates a ‘research lab feel’ only much more modern and playful. The duo has ensured the space has a pure feel, clearly reflecting the brand itself, “it’s a nice play between the old and the new” said Mujis.

On arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our Retail Alchemists into the ‘Cleanroom’– a signature and transformative environment of abundant natural light, glass and stainless steel. Featuring an innovative air-purifying filtration system that removes skin-ageing toxins; ensuring your skin health is improved from the moment you first arrive.
Located within the space, two treatment rooms are a warm and enveloping sanctuary that calm your senses, creating an environment to truly focus on achieving desired skin goals. Offering the latest in-clinic technology and advanced therapy, each treatment offers a moment of respite, inviting a sense of calm and relaxation on your journey in achieving optimal skin health.
