Flat Stanley in Seminyak rocks American flatbread pizzas, fresh salads and delicious cocktails in a venue like no other.
Although you are in Bali, America’s sunny West Coast vibes are not far away when entering Flat Stanley. This popular Palm Springs-inspired restaurant is all things vintage California from the crusty pizzas to the vinyl records and quirky artefacts on display.
Conveniently located, Flat Stanley is a trendy pizza joint offering a slice of American comfort food by using local Balinese produce. The restaurant’s open space is designed in warm and earthy colours. The most striking thing is perhaps the attention to detail that’s gone in creating this Palm Springs-inspired space. Think 60s American bungalow meets the tropics. Expect the theme to carry through all the way to the bathroom (and don’t be surprised to see Playboy girls decorating the walls).
If you are lucky to get one of the outdoor tables you’ll get a nice breeze from the ceiling fans whilst enjoying a cold drink from the extensive craft beer and cocktail list (as well as an impressive wine list).

Apart from the famous oval-shaped flatbread pizzas, the menu consists of an array of sharing boards, small plates, vegetables, salads, and grilled meats. The pizzas are excellent to share and the spicey chicken is a real winner which goes well with the charcoal broccoli drizzled with chili oil. The dessert list is everything you can dream of when it comes to indulgement. The Nutella Snickers Bar is absolutely phenomenal and the fact that it’s served with a scoop of home-made coconut ice-cream makes it even better.
The service is friendly and the vibe is fun and inclusive. If you are looking for a late lunch/ early dinner the daily Happy Hour between 4 pm – 6 pm offers 50% off on all pizzas. During the evenings there’s live entertainment making it a great spot to kick off the night. Flat Stanley is a great spot for a yummy lunch with friends, a fun dinner or a pre-dinner cocktail.
