Beautiful Amanpuri might be just what you are looking for with the resort launching a new Holistic Wellness Centre this month offering medical services which fall broadly into three categories: anti-ageing and preventive medicine, aesthetic, and sports performance.
Medical Services
Medical services offered will include: Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Infusion Therapy; Chelation injections; Nebido and Genotropin hormone injections; a personalised supplement plan; colon hydrotherapy; cryotherapy; CoolSculpting; physiotherapy; High Intensity Laser (HIL) therapy; radiofrequency therapy; ultrasound therapy; red-light therapy; non-invasive High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) facials; Botox injections; chemical peel; and cosmetic acupuncture. TCM services will include Traditional Herbal Medicine; Traditional Acupuncture; Acu-Laser Therapy, Moxibustion and Cupping, while Ayurvedic therapies will range from a four-handed Abhyanga oil massage to Shirodhara (the gentle pouring of warm oil onto the forehead and over the scalp). DNA Lifestyle Genetic Analysis and Basic Wellness Gene Tests will also be available. All of these services will be complemented by the Wellness Centre’s holistic spa services, with massages, facials, body wraps and body polishes that utilise Aman’s recently launched, all-natural skincare products.
Intensive Wellness Immersions
Amanpuri is also the first Aman to provide Intensive Wellness Immersions – individual programmes with prescribed medical treatments tailored to an individual’s needs. These minimum five-night plans deepen and expand on the resort’s existing three-night Original Wellness Immersions, which launched in 2016. The new Intensive Wellness Immersions aim to present results-oriented, personalised programmes to guests who wish to dedicate their time at Amanpuri to achieving specific wellness goals. Employing every tool in both the medical and therapeutic wellness repertoires, Intensive Immersions are designed not merely to enhance a guest’s stay but to be its purpose.
Targeted and tailored to the finest detail, the Intensive Wellness Immersions offer different ‘pathways’: Mindfulness & Stress Management is exclusively an Original Immersion; Weight Management & Transformation and Detox & Cleansing are offered as both Original and Intensive Immersions; Sports Recovery & Rehabilitation and Rejuvenation & Optimal Wellbeing are exclusively Intensive Immersions. All Immersions include daily spa treatments, private movement classes, specialist therapies and comprehensive nutritional plans.
Aman Spa
Situated at the heart of the property, the Amanpuri Holistic Wellness Centre has, in addition to the new medical services, a 12-suite Aman Spa with infrared saunas, hydrotherapy areas and a finishing salon. There is also a two-storey hilltop fitness centre with Pilates studio, Muay Thai studio with boxing ring, yoga pavilions, glass-walled gym and juice bar.
