Set on a half-moon Georgian street Montagu Bar & Champagne Lounge is located in the courtyard of The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa which is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, UK. Designed by the architect John Wood the Elder and later on, John Wood the Younger, and built between 1767 and 1774, it is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the UK and is a Grade I listed building and certainly worth a visit just for the building itself.

The glamorous and intimate bar serves up an extensive range of refreshing cocktails, alongside fine Champagnes and wines from their award-winning cellar. The bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is open from 10 am daily. For guests feeling a bit peckish, the iconic bar also offers an all-day menu as well as Afternoon Tea.
With Sipsmith being the house-gin there are several refreshing gin infused cocktails to chose from such as Granny’s Garden which comes with passionfruit, almond and lime.
