Melbourne’s new yoga studio, The Light Practice will take your yoga experience to a new level. Using the latest developments in therapy and healing to all classes such as integrated light, sound, colour and movement, the ancient practice is getting a modern take.
The Light Practice is backed by female powerhouse duo Prue Barnes and Elisa Silbert alongside a team of yoga teachers. Prue, an ex-fashion designer turned yoga teacher, meditation and sound facilitator is passionate about female embodiment and has spent the past 9 years learning and training across the globe. Elisa Silbert, ex-senior brand and marketing chief; who after 20 years of growing and managing global and local brands has made the major change to build her own brand and go back to her original roots in Psychology and Therapy to bring this beautiful dream to life.

An Oasis of Healing
Located in Moorabbin, yoga enthusiasts can enjoy an oasis of healing and movement with its schedule of Yoga, breathwork and sound healing. The first of its kind studio encourages members to explore classes include Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Sound Journeys, Meditation, Mindfulness, Pranayama, Tantric Breathwork, Female Embodiment, Gong Healing and Somatic Movement Therapy. The Light Practice is the first and only studio in Australia to be combining these latest developments and elements whilst paying homage to traditional Yoga and ancient practices. One of the major points of difference is its Sound Journey and Gong Healing classes wherein the studio lies an incredibly unique and powerful Gong. Each class incorporates low-level light projections to enhance the sensory experience and evoke flow state

Infrared Sauna: 3-person Infrared sauna with chakra lights will allow the mind and body to slow down and recharge.
Wellness and Therapy Room: Our wellness practitioners are handpicked based on their extensive knowledge and ability to provide unmatched, holistic therapies to our members.
Workshop & Training Facility: Our purpose-built workshop and training facility within the space supports dynamic and larger-format teaching, training and corporate experiences including bespoke classes and workshops for corporates, sporting clubs and community groups.
Cafe: Opening soon, our cafe is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate in between classes with yogi treats including smoothies, The Bucha of Byron kombucha, coffee, chai, tea and much more.
