Spa Guide: Wellness Alchemy at Wonder Double Bay

Previously operating as To Wonderland – a holistic wellness clinic on Bondi’s Glenayr Avenue – Wonder opened in Double Bay in December 2021, offering the same range of detoxifying treatments in a new, similarly beautiful space.

As with To Wonderland, the focus here is on achieving what founder (Yoga & Meditation coach Adie Robertson) describes as ‘wellness alchemy’. Treatments range from facials to colonics, with a focus on individualised treatments that help guests achieve vitality and whole-body well-being.

While the treatments, products and technologies used at Wonder are impressive in themselves, it’s the standard (and unique, restorative energy) of the family-like team of therapists that sets Wonder apart.

“They’re masters of what they do, I’m so lucky to have them,” Wonder Founder Adie Robertson says of the team.

Robertson recommends combining a few of the therapies based on your personal needs, with a massage of some sort – be that a whole-body lymphatic drainage massage or a sculpting facial massage – an unmissable inclusion.

“It’s the massage methods that are such a speciality of ours – people leave Wonder time and time again saying that they’ve just received the best massage of their life,”.

Rounding out the expert offering, Wonder is also the Sydney base for celebrity hairstylist Max Pinnell, who offers his signature luxurious styling from the clinic’s light-flooded ground floor.
