There’s not much Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream can’t do, which is why it has become the A-listers’ go-to multi-purpose product and we can see why. Firstly, the fact that it only contains six natural ingredients, olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis is a great start. Secondly, the fact that the recipe has stayed pretty much unchanged for thousands of years proves the formula must be a winning one. The cream is easy to apply, smells nice and doesn’t stick. Apply it on your face, lips, cuticles or feet for instant smoothness and hydration. We applied some on our hands and left it overnight, only to wake up with baby-smooth paws.

Described as a multi-tasking lip treatment, a combined serum and balm, the Lip Perfectorworks wonders on dry and cracked lips. Infused with refreshing Peppermint, Wild Mint and Honeycomb Extract it smells divine. Once applied the lips immediately feels smoother and softer and the minty zing gives a super fresh sensation.

Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream, Kate Somerville

The Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream is described as a nourishing cream for sensitive, dry or damaged skin or those prone to redness or rosacea. After applying Goat Milk Cream our skin felt incredibly cool and soothing. A little goes a long way and the product glides on and really smooths into the skin without much effort. It is a great product for those with extra sensitive skin and it barely has no scent to it at all which makes it perfect for people who are sensitive to smells.

This week’s LUX LIST for dry skin wouldn’t be complete without including the iconic Skin Food from Weleda. Describes as smoothing rough patches on heels, elbows and hard-working hands this thick cream is rich in skin caring properties including sunflower oil. Given its richness, it’s a good idea to try a smaller amount when applying We tried Skin Food on our face on dry patches overnight and woke up with a visibly smoother appearance. It comes in a tube which makes it the perfect travel companion.

Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is an oil-based formula from the makers of the best-selling Bio-Oil skincare oil. According to the brand the unique gel-to-oil texture absorbs easily creating a protective film to resist moisture loss and restore the hydration within the skin. It smells very nice and is easy to apply gliding on smoothly (a small amount is enough) which makes your skin feel soft and leaves a protective film on top of your skin. We applied it before makeup and it gave our foundation a nice glow.

This creamy moisturiser is really melting onto the skin and providing a 24-hour hydration it leaves it soft and soothed.
