Is Ftelia the best location on Mykonos?

Ftelia is a tranquil north-facing bay and beach on the island of Mykonos, also known as windsurfers paradise as there is almost always a strong wind blowing. Tucked away four kilometers from the hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town, Ftelia can be accessed by car, motorbike or taxi. The surroundings are more rugged compared to other areas of the island with the hills surrounding the bay being mostly bare creating a feeling of freedom. Given its secluded location, Ftelia is rustic, authentic and a very tranquil place even during the busy months of July and August making it the perfect spot for those looking for more privacy and relaxation. There are a couple of great beach restaurants including Alemagou and Ftelia Beach Club.
