Interior style

Situated in such a unique and historic building Caro Hotel is so much more than just a hotel, it almost feels like walking around in a museum. Here, urban style is merged with the rich historic legacy of the building with walls dating back to more than 2,000 years. Guests are transported in time (if only walls could talk) by enjoying original mosaic belonging to the founding city of the Roman era which is on display throughout the hotel. The building was originally Palace of the Marquis of Caro and the talented interior designer Francesc Rifé converted the historic building by using his unique and authentic style. To transform the building into a modern hotel he managed to create a contemporary and clean feel whilst keeping the original architectonic features.

Throughout the hotel, original tiles are displayed with beautiful design motifs.

Rooms

With a collection of 26 unique rooms, categorised in double, superior and special. Each room is different from the other however all rooms offer a stylish contemporary interior design with simple lines. Some rooms feature wooden beams whilst other rooms have concrete floors and great views. The clean lines in the rooms add to the modern feeling and ooze ‘less is more’ which really works here. The two suites; The Arabic Tower and The Marquis Suite are both magnificent and located within the old palace. All rooms feature air-con, free wi-fi, LED TV, pillow menu, safety deposit, mini-bar and high-quality bathroom amenities from Bulgari.

Meta Bar

Meta Bar

Located on the ground floor next to the reception this little funky yet peaceful bar is great to enjoy a coffee or a cocktail. The bar area cleverly displays original remains from the Roman era which adds to the unique ambience.

The restaurant is divided into three different areas: the Arch Room, the Glass Ceiling and Arabic wall, and the Private Wall Room and this is where the breakfast is served.
