Lloyds Inn Singapore

Lloyd’s Inn Singapore is a stylish boutique hotel for the smart traveller.

Checking into Lloyd’s Inn Singapore you immediately get the feeling of ‘less is more’ which truly works here. This stylish de-cluttered hotel evokes a sense of calmness, serenity and luxury. With all the necessary amenities for both leisure and business travellers, the hotel offers an urban oasis right in the heart of Singapore’s city centre.

Location

Lloyd’s Inn benefits from a prime location only minutes from the famous Orchard Road. Tucked away in the leafy and quiet Lloyd Road, the boutique hotel offers a tranquil oasis away from the city’s hustle and bustle. At the end of the street, there are a couple of nice eateries (local Singaporean food) as well as a Watson’s pharmacy. For guests wanting to explore the neighbourhood there are plenty of eateries, shops, and transportation close by. Located approximately a 20 minutes drive from the airport a taxi won’t set you back more than $35. For those preferring to travel by public transport, there are both buses and trains available from the airport which both stop not far from the hotel.

The Lloyd’s Inn Singapore

The stylish boutique hotel is architecturally stunning. With polished concrete floors, high ceilings, beautiful design finishes, and a neutral colour palette, the hotel appeals to any stylish traveller looking for a chic yet comfortable hotel stay in a prime location. The unique features include open-air bathrooms with outdoor deep-soak tubs and showers, a rooftop terrace, lots of greenery and a large outdoor pool area and garden which boast several sun loungers, for total relaxation.

The reception area is modern with beautiful design books on display and the check-in is smooth and efficient. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional.

The hotel’s outdoor pantry area encourages guests to eat and socialise with each other. The area also has a coffee machine with complimentary coffees (cappuccinos, lattes etc), an ice machine as well as vendor machine with soft drinks. A great bonus is the luggage storage facilities as well as the shower room next to the reception area, free to use prior to your next flight.

Lloyds Inn Singapore

One of the more popular rooms is The Big Sky Room. The two-story white room boasts an outdoor bathtub and shower as well as a separate work station (upstairs). The king-size bed with a wooden headboard is super comfortable and has power plugs on both sides of the bed. There are coffee and tea making facilities, a large LED TV, great bath amenities, a safe and a hairdryer. There are a couple of designer kaftans available in the room which can be purchased. The polished concrete floors add an industrial-chic vibe and modern look to the luxury room. A nice touch is the super smooth quality body lotion (this will put a smile on any female traveller) and the in-house branded water bottles.

The breakfast is not served on-site, instead, guests are given vouchers ($6.40) to be used in a nearby coffee shop, ABC – Artisan Bakery, which stretches to a coffee and a croissant. The breakfast might be modest, however, the fact that the vouchers can be used until 7.30 pm provides guests with great flexibility.

You don't stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole for You don't stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole for the check-in experience—you stay because 1901 wrote better architecture than most cities can build today. Ten years after Graham Greene walked these halls, and they haven't missed a beat. The Opera House steps, the wartime tunnels underfoot, the Angelina salon where cocktails taste like history—they're all part of a legacy that doesn't need to shout to be heard. Read @janoahvankekem ´s review from his recent stay at @sofitellegendmetropolehanoi for @luxnomade on why this Hanoi icon still sets the standard.
Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge Three hours from Hanoi. Seven hectares on the edge of Ha Long Bay. Two buildings designed like traditional fishing vessels. One rooftop dinner that pairs Kagoshima Wagyu with Nuits-Saint-Georges. The math checks out. What makes this property exceptional isn't the awards or the price points—it's the willingness to let simple things (poolside pizza, afternoon tea with a limestone backdrop, quiet mornings at the Club Lounge) carry as much weight as the five-course tasting menus. Sometimes luxury is knowing when not to try too hard. Read @janoahvankekem ´s full review of @intercontinental_halongbay for @luxnomade on the website.
