The Location

The closest airport to Nicosia is Larnaca International Airport (49 km). Private taxis, service (group) taxis and buses are available for transport and within the city, there is bus service and private taxis that you can use to get around.

Run by owner Anastasia, the small boutique hotel with its three rooms is truly a hidden gem. Located in a historic sandstone building above an authentic local restaurant, the hotel can be accessed via a secure front door. There is a common reception area which is tastefully decorated mixing old antiques with quirky modern pieces. The host Anastasia takes time to sit down with every guest to go through the city map pointing out the best coffee shops, restaurants, monuments and interesting sights within the city walls.

The Hotel Room

The hotel has three spacious room each with its own style and unique character. The Wooden Room is decorated with, as you would have guessed, a wooden wall. The king-size bed is incredibly comfortable and has quality sheets, great pillows and soft duvets. the spacious room also features a small sofa, a desk with a chair as well as coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge with complimentary wine. There is also free Wi-Fi available as well as a large flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix. However, the best feature of the room is the enourmous private bathroom which features a large rain shower with original mosaic tiles. The room is decorated with quirky pieces throughout which give it a homely feel. The aircon is a great bonus if you visit the city during the warm summer months. There is a balcony with two chairs available for the hotel guests which can be accessed from the communal reception area. This is a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine whilst overlooking the hustle and bustle downstairs at the restaurant before heading out for dinner.
